What Is The 417 / 462 Visa?
The Working Holiday Visa (WHV) program allows young people from eligible countries, aged between 18 to 30 inclusive, or 18 to 35 inclusive, depending on your country of passport, to travel and work in Australia for up to 12 months.

Depending on your passport country, you may be eligible to apply for either the Working Holiday 417 Visa or the Work and Holiday 462 Visa.
The first WHV visa must be applied from outside of Australia. A second or third visa may be available, usually for those who complete specified work in a regional area.
WHVs allow for multiple entries into Australia, providing the opportunity to work and travel, and study for up to four months during the stay.
