Student Visa (500)
The Subclass 500 Student Visa allows international students to live, study, and work in Australia while enrolled in a full-time course at an accredited Australian educational institution. Whether you’re pursuing a diploma, degree, vocational training, secondary school studies, a language course or participating in an exchange program, this visa provides the opportunity to gain a world-class education while experiencing Australia’s vibrant culture.
It also offers work rights, allowing students to work part-time during their studies and full-time during formal semester breaks. Students studying a masters by research or doctoral degree, and their families, have no work limits.
Student Guardian Visa (590)
This visa is for individuals who wish to accompany and care for a student visa holder under 18 years of age. This visa allows parents, legal guardians, or nominated relatives to stay in Australia and ensure the student’s welfare while they pursue their education. The guardian can provide accommodation, support and general care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for the student. Work is not permitted under the Student Guardian visa.
